One of our biggest challenges was when we were asked by a client to move a 500kg Calacatta marble table (full slab 1.5m x 3.5m) from a 3rd floor business address in London; there was no lift access and using the stairs wasn’t possible due to the weight. From our list of contacts, we arranged a flat bed truck mounted with HIAB lift, we disassembled the table and got the marble out on to the balcony where we did all the necessary strapping and slinging, so it could be lifted down safely. The client was extremely happy with the way the job was undertaken…”
