Not only does Nina Naustdal look like a super-hot supermodel, she’s also a Chelsea-based multiple award winning former athlete (winning over 300 championship medals for her home country of Norway), a highly accomplished fashion designer, singer and TV personality. And there’s more… Nina has won nine awards for business over the past ten years and she’s also head judge of two major beauty pageants in the U.K., ‘Beauty & Brains’ and ‘Miss Egzotica’. Here are exclusive quotes direct from Nina on various aspects of her lifestyle:

I’m best known for dressing royalty – especially in the Middle East – and celebrities like Fergie, Shakira and Mel B; my designs are worn at all kinds of different events – red carpet, weddings, special celebrations or occasions, on stage, TV, music, at charity events or on a glamorous night out. For the high-end and luxury of the business, I’d say that typical customer is someone that can afford the lifestyle to wear something unique that not nobody else has. All my products are produced to the highest standard in my London atelier; I’m a perfectionist so my fabrics are hand-picked to give the right look and feel for the design and we only use the finest and best finishes for the item we’re creating…”

Inspiration for my designs can come from anything – art, travel , different cultures, individual people, jewellery, nature; every collection is different, produced every season depending on my research and what I’m surrounded with at the time. I love travelling, it’s one of my favourite things to do – from skiing in Courchevel to being on the beach in south of France, or on a safari in Africa. I also have several international fashion shows coming up this year, including those in Paris, Montenegro, Canada, Macodeonia, London and Pakistan…” ..”

The price point for items from the Nina Naustdal lifestyle brand depends on the product but could start from £500 for the ready to wear, accessories, etc. Evening wear is probably more from £1000 and up, and couture, made to measure and bridal is priced from £5000 and upwards. When it comes to the high-end pricing like haute couture, it totally depends on the work, material and hours or days spent on each design. All my dresses are made in my atelier in the UK. With ‘DonDunk‘ (above), my new brand, pricing starts from around £200 for a normal, every day trainer. ‘Collector‘ trainers or ‘The Legend‘ trainers – with bespoke artwork – the pricing starts around £3000 pounds and up…”

This year I’ll produce my first jewellery collaboration collection in association with ‘Nadia Jewellery‘, launching under the label ‘Nadia Jewellery by Nina Naustdal’. I’m very excited about this as I used to have fine jewellery as part of my brand when I launched my first boutique in Walton Street back in 2011, so it’ll be nice to bring back that creative avenue along with Nadia. The pieces will be available from my new boutique in Mayfair later this year…”

I really enjoy the polo and Ascot… and my favourite restaurant depends on what food or entertainment I may want at the time; there have been many new restaurants opened recently in London so, for me, the main thing is always good company and great music. My favourite members club would probably be The Arts Club in Mayfair (above, right)…“

One of my favourite photographers is Szabina Biro; she’s worked with me for years and can capture every angle and moment of each shoot and design. Szabina is very professional and has an eye for exact detail. My favourite celebrity hair and make up artist would be Susan Rose; she has worked with me for many years and can transform me into any look with perfection, depending on which direction we’re going…”

This year, I’m launching my brand ‘DonDunk’ (above) at the same time as opening my new boutique in Mayfair, London. I’m launching my first single ‘Boss’ and my own NFT linked to that song. I have a role in a Horror movie ‘From The Corner Of My Eye’ and a Bollywood movie ‘Ganapath’ that are both out at the end of this year. I also have a book launch for the 10 most inspiring women in the world, which I’m part of…”
