Some UHNWI collect cars, some collect jewellery, some collect art, some collect cigars and some collect wine. Others collect all of them, however the main objective of Artur Vladi’s business is specifically to create bespoke cellars for the world’s wine aficionados. Formerly a professional joiner, Artur was hand-building kitchens and wardrobes for five years before he started to produce bespoke wine cellars for a company where he’d previously worked for 15 years as company director and lead fitter in charge of production and the installation teams. The majority of the wine cellars he produces are made from solid timber using led lights, mirror, acrylic and glass units for doors, panels and glass display shelving. The greatest challenge for me has been when I had to install a wine cellar on a 63 metre yacht being built in Holland. I had to make sure every bottle was secured and that none would fall out when the boat was moving, which was very difficult, however we managed to complete the job to a very high quality finish…”
