NS: ”Many event and wedding designers would say that RVH is THE leading London-based name in floral decor; as the modern-day pioneer of celebrity and royal floral arrangements on a grand and glamorous scale, what would you say are the current trends?”
RvH: ”Floral styles have tended to become looser with a more whimsical and natural feel, however, whatever our clients request we will make it happen! The current trends are leaning into a ‘less is more’ approach which comes from the drive towards sustainability and has led to an increase in demand for varieties of flowers that are ’in-season’…”
Throughout 2023, our main goal is to continue to serve our amazing clients on the floral and prop hire side, and to grow our RVH Home brand which sells gorgeous luxury lifestyle products…”

NS: ”Has the RVH client profile changed over recent years ie more events or less, more private clients or more corporate?”
RvH: “We’ve grown our private client base but we still do lots of big events such as weddings, parties, private dinners, and celebrations – this is both collaboratively with our RVH Prop Hire company, and individually. I take great pride in all the events that we’ve supplied over the years, each for their own individuality, and also for the creative opportunities they give us…”
I think nowadays I’m probably most inspired by the entertainment of my two sons and the joy they bring. For me, happiness is the key to supplying and receiving flowers!”

NS: ”Ultimately, who or what most influences the style of RVH floral decor?”
RvH: ”I take inspiration from many aspects of day-to-day life, from those who are around me, and from my clients too; I’ve also taken lots of inspiration from the arts, music and entertainment over the years, however I think nowadays I’m probably most inspired by the entertainment of my two sons and the joy they bring. For me, happiness is the key to supplying and receiving flowers!”
