THE LITTLE FLOWER ATELIER

My approach to floral design and weddings is all about building a genuine connection with my clients; I want them to feel completely comfortable sharing ideas because that’s how we create something truly magical together. When they trust me with their special day, I take that responsibility very personally and pour my heart into every detail…”

My floral style is all about creating truly immersive experiences that completely transform a space and transport you into a romantic dream. I believe flowers should never just sit quietly in the background, they should tell my clients love story in the most breathtaking way possible…”

A UNIQUE BRAND: “What sets my work apart is the abundance I bring to every design—I’m not talking about just ‘more flowers’; I’m talking about layers of texture, unexpected color combinations, and arrangements that flow and breathe together to create this incredibly lush, romantic atmosphere. Think of cascading installations that seem to spill naturally from the ceiling or tablescape gardens that guests want to get lost in. Every design I create is completely bespoke; my client’s story is unique, so their flowers should be too. I spend time understanding not just color preferences but the feelings my clients want to create, the memories they want to make, and the moments that matter most to them. The luxury in my work isn’t just about using the best floral varieties; it’s about the artistry and attention to detail. Every petal placement is intentional, every element works in harmony, and the overall effect is something that literally takes your breath away…”

I work hand-in-hand with other vendors to ensure everything flows seamlessly, and I’m always happy to chat about styling ideas, colour schemes, or how to make their tables-capes absolutely stunning…”

ON INSPIRATION: “I find inspiration everywhere I look, from the latest fashion and captivating art exhibitions to the ever-changing beauty of nature around us. There’s something magical about discovering an unexpected color combination or an intriguing texture that sparks a new design idea. I’m absolutely fascinated by the interplay of tones and textures, and I love experimenting with unexpected color pairings that create something truly special. Even if it’s a classic white palette, you’ll be amazed to discover that there are actually over 150 different shades of white to explore! This means each design will have incredible depth and dimension, never just one flat, uniform look. Every project I take on feels like I’m creating a work of art, and I’m passionate about pushing each design to reach its absolute best. My goal isn’t just to meet expectations; it’s to create something so beautiful that it exceeds even your wildest dreams. With regard to industry professionals, to mention just a few, I’m inspired by Katie Julia, Greg Finck, Tony Marklew, Tatty Rose, Michelle Kelly, and Bluebird Creative…”

ON FAVOURITE VENUES: “Penicuik Estate, Scotland; Gosford House, Scotland; Hotham Hall Estate, England; Grantley Hall, England; Cornwall Manor, England; Kin House, England; The Franklin Hotel, London…”

ON BRAND PHILOSOPHY: “What I focus on is what makes my approach special and how I can offer the best value for my clients. When it comes to logistics, I keep things personal and hands-on. While larger companies might have clients working with different people at each stage, my couples work directly with me from start to finish. I know my local suppliers inside and out; I have trusted relationships with vendors in my local area and across the UK, depending on where I’m working, and I am personally there on the big day to ensure that everything is perfect…”

ON COLLABORATIONS: “I’m drawn to any brand that values quality, attention to detail, and the creation of those special moments that people remember forever. Those are the partnerships where we can truly elevate each other’s work and create something extraordinary together. I believe that collaborations are absolutely essential and that the most magical events happen when talented creatives come together and inspire one another. When I work alongside amazing wedding planners, photographers, venue coordinators, and other vendors, we are not just providing separate services; we are creating one cohesive vision together. Some of my most stunning work has come from those moments when a planner shares an idea that sparks something new in me or when a photographer suggests an angle that makes me see my arrangements in a completely different light. From a practical standpoint, strong collaborations mean seamless experiences for my clients. When all the vendors know and trust each other, everything flows much more smoothly on the big day. There is a beautiful rhythm that occurs when everyone is working in harmony. Ultimately, I believe that collaboration makes everyone’s work stronger and more meaningful. Together, we create experiences that none of us could achieve alone, and that is pretty magical, if you ask me!”

ON CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS: “For me, it is all about genuine listening and making my clients feel truly heard. When someone trusts me with their special day, they are sharing their dreams and most precious memories with me. The real magic happens when I listen not just to what they are saying, but also to what they are feeling. Sometimes a bride describes wanting ‘romantic and elegant,’ but as we talk, I discover she is actually dreaming of her grandmother’s garden or a meaningful trip to Paris. Those deeper stories are where the connection begins. I am completely authentic from our first conversation; I want them to see my real passion and excitement for their vision. Once that trust is built, we become true collaborators, and that is when the most amazing designs come to life…”

ON BRAND EVOLUTION: “I become increasingly excited when contemplating the future! Over the next five years, I envision my business evolving in beautiful ways while remaining true to what I love most: creating magical, unforgettable moments for my clients. I am passionate about continuing to push creative boundaries and exploring new artistic challenges. I would love to expand into more elaborate installations and perhaps even venture further into destination weddings in some truly stunning locations. There is something exceedingly inspiring about adapting my designs to different cultures and breathtaking settings. Regarding growth, I am considering bringing on a carefully selected team member who shares my vision for artistry and client care. I never wish to lose the personal touch that makes my work special; however, having the right person could allow me to undertake more of those once-in-a-lifetime projects I dream about. Ultimately, I perceive the next five years as an opportunity to continue elevating my work – more innovative designs, more meaningful client relationships, and the ongoing endeavour to surprise couples with florals that exceed even their wildest dreams. The foundation is strong, and now it is time to truly soar!”

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE: “Oh, this is such an exciting question! I’m always looking to build meaningful partnerships with brands that share my passion for creating unforgettable experiences. When it comes to venues, I would love to work more closely with historic estates, boutique luxury hotels, and unique destination properties. A couple on my wish list are both Gleneagles and Carlowrie Castle in Scotland, as well as Euridge Manor in Wiltshire, where the settings themselves tell a profound story. These venues understand that florals are not just decoration; they are an integral part of creating that ‘wow’ moment. I am drawn to collaborating with luxury event planners who appreciate artistry and craftsmanship—the kind who see flowers as an investment in creating memories. Working alongside planners who share that vision makes the entire process significantly more creative and fulfilling.”

ON AUTUMN: “Autumn is one of my favourite times of year. I love the season, but it also feels like taking a deep, refreshing breath after the beautiful whirlwind of wedding season! This autumn, I am genuinely looking forward to some creative renewal. I plan to visit a few inspiring exhibitions and possibly take a short trip to gather fresh ideas and perspectives. I am also taking the time to reflect on this past season, celebrating the incredible moments with my couples and contemplating how I can make next year’s designs even more magical. I have some exciting new techniques I would like to master, and I am already sketching out concepts for 2026. On the practical side, I am nurturing relationships with my wonderful supplier partners and exploring some new growers who may bring fresh blooms to my palette. I am also planning some intimate styling shoots to showcase those gorgeous autumn tones; there is nothing quite like the richness of this season for inspiration! I am genuinely excited about what lies ahead; 2026 is going to be absolutely beautiful!”
