With more than 30 years’ experience working within the interior design industry – including 13 years exclusively dedicated to his rug collection – Matthew’s designs are inspired by nature, architecture and art; production takes place in Kathmandu, Nepal (see video top of the page and below, centre) where hand-knotted production typically takes around 12-14 weeks, depending on size and complexity, using traditional techniques and the finest of raw materials of pure wool, silk, botanical silk, mohair, pashmina, jute, nettle, hemp, cotton and linen…
