Mango Weddings, established in the picturesque Mexican Riviera, was launched in 2014 when the founders decided to embark on a new venture after working for other event planners. Initially focusing on elopements due to a lack of portfolio, they gradually curated a gallery to showcase their work on social media platforms. Early posts, featuring vibrant ceremony arches reflective of the trends of the time, marked the beginning of a remarkable journey.
The turning point came when they secured their first significant wedding, an Indian wedding – a challenge they embraced despite having little experience. Drawing on their previous two and a half years of being based in India, they confidently portrayed expertise in Indian weddings, leading to a signed contract while simultaneously researching the customs online. This mix of audacity and resourcefulness culminated in a successful first event.
Given that our region lacks access to traditional wedding flowers, these must be sourced from other states with more favourable climates, where conditions are less hot and humid.
