C&B: “Nina, congratulations on reaching the CITY & BEACH LIFESTYLE BEST DRESSED LIST 2025! You are a well known designer in your own right – what or who provides your style inspiration?”
NN: “My style inspiration comes from my favourite brands, which include Karl Lagerfeld, Olivier Rousteing, Zuhair Murad, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, as well as Jane Birkin. Additionally, I draw inspiration from movies, art, music, and travel. As a designer, I’m influenced by a multitude of elements that shape my style and inform my new designs.”

C&B: “You mentioned that your style has evolved over the years; are there any trends you follow in terms of fashion or accessories?”
NN: “I incorporate current fashion trends into my personal style by playing with colours and different accessories. My ‘must have’ fashion accessories include my new jewellery line ‘Collection By Nadia’ by Nina Naustdal and my sunglasses…”
January includes two very special personal dates: My birthday on the 5th and the premiere of the next movie in which I am appearing as ‘Frankie’ – ‘Mr. Hyde’ – opening in Leicester Square on the 16th of the month…”

C&B: “Nina, you’re known for your fearless and bold outfits that are a reflection of your personality – what are your favourite statement pieces, past and present?”
NN: “My favourite item in my wardrobe at the moment is a pair of pink Hermès crocodile boots that came directly off the runway. No one else possesses these boots; they are timeless and can be worn either casually or dressed up, depending on the occasion. My favourite outfit from the past years is a long made-to-measure couture gown that I designed myself; it was crafted with precision for a very special occasion several years ago. It was entirely handmade, and it took months to produce.”
C&B: “The boots sound amazing! As an expert on dressing for special occasions in fabulous locations, which would you say are your favourites around the world?”
NN: “I spent the past festive period in Dubai on business and attended a beautiful black-tie dinner at the Al Habtoor Palace Hotel for the CEO Club Annual Gala Dinner. Both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are very special occasions that require something extraordinary! My favourite clubs and restaurants include The Arts Club in both London and Dubai, Jimmy’z in Monaco and Cipriani and Billionaire Club in Sardinia. My favourite hotels include the Four Seasons Paris, Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc Antibes, the Royal Mansour Marrakech, Burj Al Arab and Atlantis the Royal Dubai…”
C&B: “And when you’re travelling to your favourite destinations, do you have a favourite look? And how does sustainability factor into your wardrobe decisions?”
NN: “For sustainability, I like Stella McCartney and the way she plays with shapes and colours. Recently I launched my exclusive new sports brand DonDunk, so a very chic and trendy tracksuit, or shorts and t-shirt with trainers, is the most comfortable and fashionable way to travel…”
