How did you meet? One of the questions I’ve been asked most in my life. For someone who is more of a homebody than a night owl, I know a lot of people, and that started with Bond, James Bond. In fact, I knew quite a few interesting individuals well before that period of my life; I just didn’t know how to maximise it other than socially until I launched my events brand. My company then went on to produce special occasions on behalf of Alain Ducasse, The YPO, Cartier, HM Government, M/V Savarona, Anton Mosimann, The Fox Club for Firmdale Hotels, Northacre plc, Moet & Chandon, Savills, The British Red Cross, any many more – each of which brought me into contact with yet another group of amazing movers and shakers in different areas of business. My career segued into interiors after I launched my own product line; however, I still gather people together on both a large and a small scale – such as through a regular supper club, private events on behalf of interiors clients, and contributing as a committee member for various charities and other endeavours. To me, creating a truly great event means bringing together a mix of people who all have something in common – they’re leaders in what they do, or on their way. As such, I’ve learned from them about subjects as diverse as gourmet cuisine to cigars, luxury watches, health and fitness, photography, floral decor, cars, super-yachts, acting, music, communications, publishing, investment banking, hotels, art, high-end property, travel, fine jewellery, fashion design, shipping, and private aviation.
