Charlotte Marshall, who is founder of the company, produces installations around Yorkshire, nationwide and across Europe. Here we discuss, Charlotte’s favourite flowers, venues and inspirations…
C&B: “Charlotte, how long have you been in floral design and what initiated your venture into running your own business?”
CM: “Lottie Rose Designs has been in business for five years, but I’ve been obsessed with flowers and floral design from a very young age, always creating designs at home for family and friends. After eleven years as a Financial & Corporate Accountant, often feeling like I was in the wrong career and never being fulfilled despite being good at the job, I decided to pursue my dream in 2020. I took a risk and left my high-powered career to set up my own business in floral design and the rest is history…”
Lottie Rose Designs is named after my first daughter, Lottie Rose, and my favourite flower, the rose. We specialise in bespoke floral designs and installations for businesses, weddings, and events. We’re dedicated to producing beautiful, timeless arrangements that push boundaries and leave a lasting memory for our customers forever…”

C&B: “You’re clearly very successful; who is your typical client?”
CM: “Our typical client for weddings would be those with a love of soft, beautiful, romantic florals; this is the type of design we specialise in typically for weddings. But for floral installations and creative floral designs, we’ve created everything from a stunning enchanted garden with large-scale mushrooms and deer to a tropical rainforest vibe within commercial offices. We absolutely love to work within our signature style, and we also love a new challenge…”
C&B: “Is it only larger installations that you provide, or do you home deliver bouquets as well?”
CM: “We do both. We hand deliver bouquets to our brides on their big day, as well as creating beautiful major installations. The team is always happy to cater for all floral requirements…”
Roses, hydrangeas, and ranunculus are always popular with our couples. Timeless greenery is also very popular these last two years. Many of our couples are also recently loving the summer garden or wildflower look this year.”

C&B: “Can you share your inspiration and vision for your floral designs at upcoming weddings and events during Summer 2025?”
CM: “We absolutely love the soft, whimsical design look, and we do specialise in this area in all types of floral designs from fresh blooms through to dried floral displays. However, we always look for inspiration from our local area too. Haworth, where we are based, and its surrounding area are quintessential of the English countryside – that includes stunning parks and landscaped flowers through to wildflower meadows, so there is always much inspiration to be found here.”
We often work with other creatives on projects and events and have built up a wonderful list of supplier friends over the years. I believe it takes teamwork when providing a truly bespoke service, and we love to heighten the profile of other amazing creatives and suppliers where we can…”
