Martina’s career spans 13 years of experience in high-end event execution, including six years of managing events for a luxury boutique hotel in Switzerland, alongside seven years successfully building and running her own event planning business. C&B: “Martina – you know Italy extremely well; which wedding and event locations are the most popular with your clients, and why?”
MA: “Many of my couples fall in love with the Borromean Islands – especially Isola dei Pescatori. After 7:00 PM, when the day-trippers leave, there’s the magical feeling of having the entire island to themselves. It becomes an enchanted, intimate retreat with a warm, welcoming charm. Equally requested as a destination is north Sardinia, particularly Palau and the Costa Smeralda. These iconic destinations hardly need an introduction – think secluded beaches, crystalline waters, and unforgettable sunsets…”
My personal favourites are intimate venues nestled in nature or frame-worthy views; I’m especially drawn to small islands like the Borromean Islands or San Pietro Island in Sardinia – there’s something truly magical about creating an event where guests feel completely at home in a world entirely their own…”

MA: “True luxury is authentic and local. I believe in honouring the destination through handmade traditional dishes, boutique local wines, and master artisans – such as a traditional torrone confectioner – creating an unforgettable sensory experience for each of the guests…”

MA: “I’ve had a dream project in mind for years: styling a full event right on a tennis court! It doesn’t have to be a wedding – a chic pre-wedding party or a milestone birthday would be incredible. I’ve always been fascinated by the vibrant colours and nostalgic, crisp aesthetic of tennis clubs…”
