Being both Italian and American, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work. I’m fluent in both languages, which allows me to navigate every aspect of the planning process. Clear communication is essential – whether working closely with Italian vendors to ensure precision and authenticity, or guiding my international couples in English with clarity and ease. This dual cultural and linguistic understanding allows me to act as a bridge between worlds, ensuring a smooth, refined, and effortless experience from start to finish. Living in Florida also allows me to travel across the United States and connect with my American couples wherever they are – whether meeting in person before the wedding journey begins or nurturing the relationship along the way…”

Emma Giangreco is an Italian-American destination wedding planner, based in Florida, USA, and working across Italy – Venice, Lake Como, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Portofino, and Sicily. Fluent in both languages and rooted in two cultures, she operates a boutique practice, taking on no more than seven weddings per year, bringing the same care, intention, and presence to each one. Here we discuss favourite venues, the philosophy behind her deliberately limited calendar, and what it means to turn a single day into a deeply felt experience…
C&B: “Emma, you operate within the most magical areas of Italy; how many weddings do you arrange per year, on average?”
EG: “I intentionally take a limited number of weddings each year – five to seven. It is a boutique wedding planning approach, a conscious choice rooted in my belief that exceptional experiences are never created at scale, but through care, attention, and dedication. Every wedding is tailored to each couple and receives my full presence, creativity, and commitment, allowing me to curate not just an event, but an entire experience for the couple and their guests. My approach is deeply personal and intentionally different. I focus on quality in order to deliver excellence. By working with this select number of clients, I am able to build genuine relationships, anticipate needs before they arise, and guide each step of the journey with intention and discretion. The result is a wedding that is not only beautifully executed, but also deeply felt – by the couple and by everyone who shares in their day…”

I’m inspired by the in-between moments – the ones you do not plan, but feel. The energy of a place, the intimacy of a small gathering, the way beauty can be both effortless and powerful at the same time. Italy itself is a constant source of inspiration to me: its textures, its light, its timeless elegance. But above all, it is people – their stories, their emotions – that drive everything I create…”

C&B: “What would you has been the most significant season of your career?”
EG: “Summer 2025 has been my most favourite and meaningful summer of my career. I was blessed with the most wonderful couples, turning professional journeys into friendships that will last a lifetime. I kicked off June with Taylor and Chris on the shores of Lake Como and closed a beautiful September in Sorrento with Ari and Zach. It was not just a season of events – it was a beautiful journey of love…”
C&B: “There are so many beautiful venues to choose from in Italy; which do you most like to recommend to your clients, and why?”
EG: “Borgo Santandrea on the Amalfi Coast. I designed an intimate elopement for a couple and their eleven closest family members – where every detail felt effortless, every moment deeply personal. No excess. Just beauty, emotion, and the magic of being together in one of the most breathtaking settings in Italy…”

It’s a dream to work with couples who prioritise experience over scale – those who want something deeply personal, beautifully curated, and flawlessly executed. I design intimate, multi-day weddings in Italy where guests feel taken care of at every step, and where luxury is expressed through ease, intention, and detail. With the right level of trust and creative freedom, I am able to transform a wedding into an unforgettable experience…”

C&B: “You have already accomplished a great deal in your life and your career; what are your plans for the coming months…”
EG: “I’m currently in a season of life where I am prioritising what matters most – my personal life, my relationship, and the creation of a home. My partner and I have just begun this beautiful new chapter together, and I am pouring the same care, intention, and love into our home as I do into the weddings I design. Because of this, I am being exceptionally selective with the projects I take on for 2027. It is important to me that each collaboration feels aligned – built on trust, shared vision, and a genuine connection. The couples I choose to work with will experience an even deeper level of commitment: a planning journey rooted not only in expertise and refinement, but in presence, care, and meaningful relationship…”
