SS: “My wedding design philosophy is based on the belief that every event is a unique story to be told. For me, it’s not just about organising a special day, but about translating emotions into details and turning every challenge into a creative opportunity. C&B: “Can you tell us about some of the most memorable weddings you have organised?”
SS: “Among the most memorable weddings are those on Lake Como and in Tuscany: two opposite yet complementary Italian ‘souls.’ On Lake Como, I have created refined events where glamour meets the elegance of historic villas. In Tuscany, on the other hand, I love to bring to life more relaxed, lively, and ‘country-style’ celebrations, set among hills and vineyards, with an authentic and social atmosphere. Two different settings, but both able to tell a story of love with style and intensity…”
C&B: “How do you handle logistical challenges, such as choosing the venue and coordinating vendors?”
SS: “Managing logistical challenges is never simple. From finding the perfect venue to coordinating vendors, every phase is handled with precision and transparency. The secret is knowing how to create a close-knit team that can work together to achieve excellent results. It is absolutely essential to build a detailed plan – shared with all vendors – that leaves nothing to chance and tries to anticipate every potential issue…”
Themes and trends in weddings constantly change from year to year and can be quite varied; I believe the true trend is offering couples and their guests real immersive experiences! SS: “Every couple brings a different story, and this uniqueness is where my philosophy begins. From the venue selection to the event design, every detail is custom-made, with care and attention. My goal is to build the perfect plan together with the couple: a wedding that is not just an event, but a faithful telling of their love story…”

SS: “Involving local artisans and vendors is a fundamental part of the creative process for me. I always try to surround myself with professionals who share my same vision: people who work with passion, authenticity, and transparency. I believe that the quality of a wedding also comes from the synergy between those who create it, and that is why I carefully select vendors who are able to interpret the couple’s style and wishes…”
Floral arrangements and décor play a central role in my projects: flowers are not simple decorations. With their colours, scents, and shapes, they can create unique atmospheres and offer an unparalleled visual setting. I believe they are essential for giving a wedding a significant and memorable visual impact. Every floral choice is studied to be in harmony with the overall event design, so that every detail – from the bouquet to the ceremony and reception décor – becomes part of a coherent and elegant story…”

C&B: “Final question, what would you say has been your most important achievement as a wedding planner?”
SS: “My most important achievement as a wedding planner is client satisfaction. In this industry, it truly is the only thing that matters: knowing that the couple experienced their day with joy and peace. It has happened that, days after the wedding, the couple came back to me with thank-you notes and gifts for the work done. Believe me, in that moment, all the effort, difficulties, and sacrifices disappear, leaving only deep satisfaction. It is the confirmation that every bit of energy spent helped to create an unforgettable memory, and that is worth more than any other goal to me…”
