C&B: “Claudio and Silvia, firstly – congratulations to Whitesfilm on being named one of the CITY & BEACH TOP 25 INTERNATIONAL VIDEOGRAPHERS 2026. What was it that initially inspired you to pursue a career in videography?”
C&S: “I, (Claudio) was born in Padua and grew up among its beautiful ancient streets, where great masters such as Giotto and Donatello once lived. It was here that my love for art first took root. After studying Arts, Music and Performing Arts in Bologna and specialising in filmmaking, I founded Whitesfilm in 2014. Today, I share this journey with Silvia, my partner both in life and in work. Her passion for filmmaking grew alongside mine, and together we have made it much more than a profession – it has become our way of life…”
For us, two elements are essential for the success of a wedding: strong collaboration between all the vendors and a genuine relationship with the couple. When everyone works together with trust and harmony, and the couple feels comfortable with us, everything flows naturally and the final result becomes truly authentic…”

C&B: “How would you describe your style, and how has it evolved over the years?”
C&S: “Our style is rooted in reportage: capturing each wedding as it unfolds, with genuine emotions, spontaneous gestures, and fleeting moments. Over the years, working as a couple has brought two different perspectives into every Whitesfilm story. Today, we combine the authenticity of reportage with a cinematic, timeless aesthetic. We don’t chase the “wow” effect; we tell each story with honesty, empathy, and sensitivity…”
C&B: “As filming a wedding is almost always an adventure, what’s the most surprising aspect that has happened during the ceremony?”
C&S: “One of the most unforgettable moments we have experienced was this summer at Castello di Xiroumi in Sicily, where we filmed a falcon carrying the wedding rings to the couple during the ceremony! It was an extraordinary, almost cinematic moment that perfectly captured the magic of the day…”
We’d say our favourite wedding locations are Castello di Xirumi in Sicily, Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera, Reggia di Venaria in Turin, Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello, La Miramis in Porto Ercole, and Château de Tourreau in Provence. Together, they represent the incredible variety of destinations and settings that inspire our work in Whitesfilm throughout Europe…”

C&B: “What do you believe sets your work apart from other wedding videographers?”
C&S: “What sets us apart is that we are a couple working with couples. We understand the emotions and dynamics that make every relationship unique, allowing us to connect with our couples on a very personal level. We believe the most beautiful moments cannot be forced. We prefer to observe, follow, and gently guide our couples, helping them feel comfortable and truly themselves. Our role is to be present without being intrusive, allowing genuine emotions to unfold naturally. Being a couple also gives us two different perspectives and sensibilities, which we bring together to create a more personal and authentic vision for every Whitesfilm story…”
