C&B: “You’re probably the best known team for creating the look for brides around the world – how would you describe your process when you first meet a bride, what do you like to discuss first and what input do you require from her?”
TGB: “When we first meet a bride, we start by discussing her personal style and priorities – whether it’s about making an impression in person or looking flawless on camera. We then go over the makeup products she currently uses, what she loves about them, and how well they last. We also ask for a photo from an occasion where she felt truly confident and beautiful. All of these questions help us understand what’s most important to her…”
C&B: “Are you then ever required to handle any last-minute changes or requests from the bride on their wedding day?”
TGB: “We’re an exceptionally organised team, always creating a detailed time plan for our clients’ wedding mornings, while allowing some flexibility for those inevitable last-minute changes or requests. With our experience and adaptability, we’re always prepared to adjust as needed to ensure our clients are completely happy!”

C&B: “How do you adapt your makeup styles to fit different cultures and traditions when working with brides internationally?”
TGB: “Our team is skilled in all styles of makeup, hair, and traditional attire for weddings across diverse cultures – with our extensive experience and a deep understanding of cultural nuances and traditions, we’re able to commit to delivering a unique experience for our clients…”
C&B: “How do you stay updated with the latest trends in hair and makeup, especially for weddings, and what advice do you give clients who are unsure about their makeup style for their big day?”
TGB: “As passionate beauty enthusiasts, we’re often invited to brand showcases and masterclasses by names like Dior. Our team regularly works on runway shows, giving us a firsthand look at the latest trends, which we then adapt into more wearable looks for brides and red carpet events. The best advice we can give any client is to stay true to herself. Avoid looks that don’t feel like ‘you’ or trends that don’t align with your style. Instead, arrange an online consultation to get personalised guidance from a makeup artist who genuinely wants to understand your unique style. During a trial session, they’ll work with you to create a look you love, whether that means a bold look or minimal makeup – whatever feels authentically you!”
C&B: “Are there any photographers or videographers that best capture your work?”
TGB: “We love working with Catherine Bradley because she brings a fashion-inspired perspective to bridal portraits. Her skilful use of lighting beautifully highlights our work every time…”

C&B: “Yes, Catherine has been showcased recently here at CITY & BEACH LIFESTYLE and she is indeed the perfectionist, which we admire. Besides the photography aspect, are you able to share any particularly memorable experience from a wedding you worked on internationally?”
TGB: “We had the privilege of working on an unforgettable wedding at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. This event was especially meaningful, as it was the first time our London team joined forces with our Côte d’Azur team. Our team at Glam feels like a close-knit family, and watching everyone collaborate seamlessly over those four days was truly special. One memory that stands out is the first time we saw the iconic aisle leading down to the ocean – a breathtaking moment we’ll never forget!”
C&B: “We’ve noticed themes coming and going over the years – is there a particular bridal look that you think will be trending in 2025?”
TGB: “While we acknowledge that bridal trends will always evolve, as a team, we don’t focus solely on trends. Our priority is always individuality and bringing our clients’ unique vision to life. That said, we do see a continued emphasis on radiant, flawless skin carrying through into 2025. And we love it when brides incorporate herbs into their floral arrangements; though not traditional flowers, herbs add a unique touch, and we’ve seen so many beautiful bouquets featuring them. The scent is absolutely divine!“

C&B: “What’s the favourite part of traveling internationally for work, and do you have any funny or interesting travel stories from your projects?”
TGB: “One of our favourite aspects of traveling internationally for work is witnessing how our couples embrace the local cultures and traditions. It also provides us with the chance to spend quality time together as a team. This year, two of our team members were aboard a guest’s super yacht, and we had to organise a rescue mission to get them back as it set sail with them onboard. Luckily they made their flights back to London!”
Each member of our team has their own makeup kit filled with favourite products; we often hold team ‘play dates’ where we share techniques and the products we’re currently loving. Some of our go-to brands include Tom Ford Beauty, Hourglass, Chanel, and Charlotte Tilbury…”

TGB: “The most rewarding part of our work is seeing our brides fully ready, radiating confidence as they prepare to step into a new chapter of their lives. There’s something incredibly emotional about witnessing that first step toward their future, and being present for those moments feels like a true privilege every single time…”
